Kassner Outlines Priorities, Accomplishments in North Shore Letter

To the editor:

As a lifelong Massachusetts native and your state representative for the 2nd Essex District, I’ve always believed in showing up and fighting for what’s right, just, and fair. That’s the work I do every day on Beacon Hill.

I’m focused on driving progress, building our communities, and delivering for everyday North Shore families like my own.

Since being elected, I’ve driven key legislation to improve infrastructure, protect our marshes, expand access to clean water, streamline local permitting, revitalize our towns, and support everyday families who are struggling to get by.

I will continue to work for you, for our environment, small business and to provide the housing we need. I’ll keep fighting for our freedoms — including reproductive rights, common‑sense gun safety, and the right to vote free from federal interference.

And none of this happens alone. Building a stronger North Shore community means listening to one another, valuing every voice, and making space for collaboration. By working closely with local leaders and regional partners, we can leverage the immense economic potential of our district while preserving its character. Together, we’ve made this district a priority for state funding, helping communities stabilize their local economies and create new opportunities.

Over the past four years, through collaboration and advocacy, I’ve helped deliver millions of dollars for our communities — supporting local economies, protecting the Great Marsh and our drinking water, and helping families and seniors manage the rising costs of everyday life.

We are a community of ingenuity, talent and possibility. I’m honored to represent you, to listen to your concerns, and to fight for the future we deserve. Let’s continue that work — together.
